Command-line Interface (CLI)

VoiceCode runs a NodeJS process that you can interact with from the command line.

To access the VoiceCode CLI, first install the repl-client NPM utility globally:

npm install -g repl-client

Now, you can launch the CLI any time by running the following command from a terminal prompt

rc /tmp/repl/voicecode_production.sock

Once you have entered the CLI the whole scope and API of VoiceCode is available by typing JavaScript statements.

Common Uses

Enable all commands

Commands.enableAll()

Inspect a certain command

c.tags

Inspect a Scope

s = Scope.get('atom')
s.applications()
s.active()
